In-Store Support for Louisiana WIC Vendors
Support Your WIC Customers with Confidence
If participants need support while shopping, vendors have resources available provided by Louisiana WIC.

Louisiana WIC Shopper Kiosks
Louisiana WIC is pleased to introduce the innovative WIC Shopper Kiosk, featuring a touchscreen and a product scanner. This user-friendly tool makes shopping for WIC-approved food items easy, while increasing awareness of the WIC Program and its benefits. To improve the shopping experience for WIC shoppers, approximately 20 stores in Southeast Louisiana are participating in this pilot. With a captivating custom theme, WIC shoppers can effortlessly enjoy the convenience of instantly checking if a product is WIC-approved, scan the myWIC app QR code, browse recipes, and much more!

WICShopper App
WICShopper can be used by vendors to help store employees identify WIC-approved food items in the store. This may be useful when assisting a WIC participant, conducting minimum stock checks on WIC-approved food items, or in a number of other scenarios. We encourage store employees who assist with WIC customer service or stocking to download the WICShopper app and use it to easily identify WIC-approved food items.
Shelf Talkers

Vendors have the option to use shelf talkers (i.e., labels, flags, channel strips, or clings) on shelves to indicate which food items are WIC-approved food items.
Vendors may download the approved Louisiana WIC shelf talker images below or request shelf talkers free of charge using the LA WIC Vendor Materials Request Form. Vendors may indicate an item is WIC-approved (with or without the shelf talker image(s) provided by Louisiana WIC) on a WIC-approved item’s printed shelf price label.
