Empowering Health with Louisiana WIC Nutrition Education
Nutrition Eduction is an Important Part of LA WIC!
Trained staff, including Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, will provide your family with one-on-one nutrition education several times throughout your certification period.
In addition to one-on-one nutrition education, Louisiana WIC offers online education (WICHealth) to all WIC families. With WIC nutrition education and WICHealth, participants and caregivers gain confidence about healthy choices, learn healthy recipes their kids will love, and get the most out of their WIC benefits!
Take Back Your Time
You are busy, and we get it! Complete your nutrition education at a time that works for you from anywhere, so you can spend more time with your infant and/or children.
Open the Door to Learning
The lessons available from WICHealth will count as your nutrition education at your local WIC clinic, but there is so much more. WICHealth includes nutrition advice, kitchen and cooking tips, recipes, and tips for your family written by nutrition experts.

If this your first time visiting wichealth.org, click “Sign Up”
Enter your information:
State: Louisiana
Parish: Enter the Parish where you live.
Site: Enter the name of your WIC Clinic.
Family ID: This can be found on your shopping list, in your myWIC app, or by calling your local clinic.
Complete your account by creating a unique username and password
Click “Start Lesson”
